Everyone says, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” but we say, “A picture is worth the investment in your work.”
We know that isn’t as catchy, but it’s true. Great photography is the difference between making something and finishing a project. We specialize in creating crisp beautiful images of unique art objects with a particular proficiency for artwork deemed “hard-to-photograph.”
Artwork Photography is priced on a sliding scale of $145/hour, $205/hour, and $250/hour. There is a 2-hour minimum and the price includes digital delivery of high-resolution files and usage rights 3 weeks from the shoot date.
Rush processing: We offer 1-week processing for an additional $100 or a 24-hour turnaround for an additional $250. Rush turnaround isn’t always available depending on our schedule and therefore, it must be booked before the shoot.
Straightforward Product Photography
Straightforward Photography is the most basic direct image of your creative product. The only subject in the frame is your item or set of things, so there are no distractions. We shoot it on a white background for simplicity and consistency. We recommend straight shots for everything you make. Particularly in an e-commerce situation, these shots most clearly and honestly answer the question, “what are you selling?”

Styled Product Photography
Styled Photography, another type of product photography, is where you bring additional items into the frame. We always advocate for these items to be intentional and strategic - they should help show scale, show how your item might be used, or have some context to the inspiration behind the item or your overall brand identity. Styling allows for a great deal of creativity- additional objects, playful lighting, and fun and funky colored background paper can play a role. But it’s also really easy to go too far here. The whole point of styling is to enhance your product, not drown it.

Headshot Photography
Headshot Photography is a simple portrait that is anywhere from shoulders up to waist up. Typically the subject is making eye contact with the camera though that is not expressly required. Headshots are most commonly associated with the corporate business world, but there are many areas of art and small business where they are helpful. And as artists, we have the luxury of being more creative with them.

Branding Photography
Suppose you want photos of yourself to tell a bit more of your story. These photos zoom out and show more of the environment around the subject. This can be your studio, office, brick-and-mortar store, or your booth at an outdoor market. We’ve done branding shots for our business where we were working together at a coffee shop, and of course, our dogs were there. The location, what you wear, what you choose to have in the photo with you, and even the photographer you decide to work with will impact the story your branding images tell about you and your business.
