Styled Artwork/Product Photography Day
Glass pictured by Margaret Spacapan/SPACAPAN.
Styling brings elements other than your product into the frame. You want those elements to support your product, not distract from it. There are lots of approaches to styling, but ours is strategic, intentional, and often minimalist. Bring everything you think might work well for styling and we'll edit from there.
Book a 40-minute session to get professionally shot photographs of your work to use for online sales, your portfolio, show applications, and more. Depending on the specific work, anywhere from 3 to 7 items can be shot in this amount of time. Although we want you to walk away with as many great photos as possible, our first priority is quality over quantity.
If you know you will want more than 7 items photographed, please schedule back-to-back slots. Additionally, if any of the items you want to have shot are either not freestanding (needs to hang or be mounted on a wall) or larger than 24" in any direction, please schedule back-to-back slots. If your work needs to be supported by something (ie, a plate stand, necklace bust, a mannequin, etc.) you must provide it.
Each 40-minute session is $75. High-resolution images with usage license will be emailed 3 weeks after the shoot date. Please arrive with your work at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time slot.
If you have questions before booking, please email sam@porterloves.com.
Porter Loves is thrilled to continue partnering with Creative Business Accelerator (CBA) and Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) to provide these reduced-rate photography sessions at the Sarah B. Campbell Enterprise Center.
Pre-registration is required.

Have you given up on opportunities because you don’t have anything ready to go?
Join Casey Droege (CDCP) and Sam Laffey (Porter Loves) to address organization, marketing, and brushing up your work presentation. They will run through tips and techniques to define your voice, clean up your brand aesthetic, and create consistent digital and physical materials. See examples of what works and what doesn’t.
